okay berhubung udh akhir tahun, sperti tahun lalu gw bakal kasih top 10 songs of 2011. here goes..
10. Arctic Monkeys - Suck It and See
yeap.. kick off with these beautiful song from the monkeys yg baru aja ngeluarin album ke 4 nya pertengahan tahun ini.. ditambah video klip yg memunculkan sang drummer Matt Helders sebagai bikers di tengah gurun. awesome!!
9. Coldplay - Every Tears is a Waterfall
Agak beda sama lagu2 coldplay yg sebelumnya. lagunya lebh ke electronic dgn menambahkan keyboard. Hasilnya?? Awesome!!! lagunya jadi asik dan cocok juga dibuat joget! salah satu lagu yg paling gw sering dengerin tahun ini.
8. Owl Eyes - Raiders
Ada yg tau dia?? Owl Eyes adalah project dari seorang Brooke Adammo. Seorang Aussie mantan finalis Australian Idol. lagunya catchy dan bikin kepala gw ajeb2 kalo denger lagu ini. Suaranya aduhai ditambah mukanya yg super pretty!! check this girl out!
7. Drapht - Rapunzel
ini lagu yg sangat2 mengejutkan.. i dont really listen to hip hop much but this song is crazily addictive. skali denger langsung inget deh. si Drapht ini juga menang ARIA for best hip hop record kalo ngga salah deh.
6. Oh Mercy - Keith St.
Sepertinya tahun ini gw banyak dengerin lagu2 Aussie seperti lagu ini juga. Lagunya kalem and make you calm. satu album dia lgunya begini smua. paling enak dengerin seblum tidur atau malem2 pas ngerjain assignment. ahh so good!
5. The View - "Tragic Magic" and "Grace"
Im so sorry tht i have to put 2 of The View songs in one place cause i really cant tell which one is better. Both songs are awesome. Typical the view yg slalu pwerful di setiap lagunya dengan aksen Irishnya yg bener2 nambah keunikan dari band satu ini. fucking love this band!
4. Ed Sheeran - The A Team
"and they said she's in the class a team..." such a deep and beautiful song from ed sheeran. suaranya asik ditambah iringan acoustic guitarnya. lagu ini bener2 diputer dimana2 dan gw yakin lu smua udah pada denger nih lagu.
3. Grouplove - Tounge tied
udah liat iklan ipod touch yg baru? yeap! "take me to your best friends house!" This song totally hits me since i heard it for the first time. simple, catchy, fresh. jadi kepengen beli ipod touch deh..
2. Foster the People - Pumped Up Kicks
Brace your self! Hipsters are coming. lagu ini bner2 pas buat menggambarkan para hipsters yg sedang merajalela di dunia ini. lagu ini bikin gw slalu bersiul, sound of my summer as well. bohong klo lu belom pernah denger ni lagu mah.
1. The Strokes - Under Cover of Darkness
The strokes is back baby!! setelah hampir 5 tahun tanpa album, the strokes kembali dengan lagu ini sbagai single jagoan di album baru yg berjudul "Angles". Totally best track of 2011. never get bored listening to it. just like the same old strokes but fresher.
so there you go, my best songs of 2011. sebnernya banyak lagu yg gw suka tp ngga bisa gw masukin seperti Kimbra, Noah & The Whale, the Kooks, Alex Turner's Submarine, Avril Lavigne (WTF?!) and Nicki Minaj's superbass (u gotta be kidding me?!!) hahaha.. Aite, looking forward to next year's music. please be awesome..
